The Analyst Development Program at J&D Strategies offers aspiring students a structured pathway into professional investment management. Designed to replicate the discipline and analytical rigour of institutional research, the program immerses participants in real-world portfolio analysis, market strategy, and asset allocation.
Analysts operate within the firm’s dual-fund structure — the Core Fund and the Growth Fund — covering eight primary sectors: Technology, Energy, Industrials, Financials, Consumer, Healthcare, Real Estate, and Fixed Income. Participants collaborate directly with Sector Heads to conduct research, evaluate opportunities, and present investment ideas to the Investment Committee. Each analyst is expected to demonstrate initiative, analytical precision, and the ability to translate complex market data into actionable insights.
Throughout the program, participants gain practical experience in financial modelling, valuation analysis, macroeconomic research, and risk management. They refine their ability to communicate investment ideas clearly and persuasively within a collaborative, performance-oriented environment. High-performing analysts may be considered for promotion into senior research positions or future roles within the firm’s Portfolio Management, Trading, or Quantitative Research divisions.
The program operates on a flexible, part-time, remote basis, accommodating academic schedules while maintaining a strong emphasis on accountability and professional development. Analysts are expected to contribute original research, participate in weekly investment briefings, and align their insights with J&D Strategies’ broader market outlook.
